Hi everyone! Welcome to our first ever blog post! This new blog of ours we are delighted to call “Relax & Reflect On”! Come in, sit! Let us tell you what this relaxing blog is going to be all about!
Let’s all be honest, there’s a lot out there in our crazy big world, right? And we mean like A LOT out there. Sometimes mom and I (Kallie’s currently writing this) often ponder, or reflect if you will on tons of things that both of our minds often wonder on. During the week, our time is kept hectic by the everyday schedule of working and living. However, whenever the weekend comes along, we sometimes like to wind down by taking those funky, dust-stained work clothes off, get into our comfiest, clean lounging clothes, snag a snack and drink of our favorite kind, (in her case it’s frosted mini pretzels from Wal-Mart and a Coca-Cola), and we plop down on the red velvet sofa in our living room and have conversations of sharing our curious thoughts about things. We’ll talk about random things like for instance “What if the world really was a square like Christopher Columbus thought? Would the ocean water be square also?” or “Imagine if humans had tails like animals. That would be weird, wouldn’t it?” So yeah, as you can see, all sorts of odd thoughts be running through our heads, and as I said, sharing these thoughts sometimes is how we come up with a chill chat after a long week. With all of the curious thinking that we do, our brains probably be more fried from that than from our actual jobs we focus hard on everyday. Ha ha. But that’s basically the magic of it, you know? A thinking curious mind like that is actually good for the brain from what I heard, as it creates more mental room/space for creativity and ideal thinking. In some cases, it’s also a way to keep your inner imaginative child in you still around. Hey, you know what they say, you’re never to old to be young, right?
I’m pretty sure most if not all of us have pondered about the most strangest things in our lives before. We may catch ourselves doing it as we’re per say taking a walk around our neighborhood or cleaning up around the house or heck, our minds even may wander while we’re on the clock everyday, right? You got to keep your mind awake SOMEHOW during those long, sleezy hours, you feel me? Lowkey, I wonder if some people actually do that for those working an office job. You know, it’s like you’re sitting at that desk all day, the atmosphere is quiet, you have nothing but your cup of coffee and office work on your computer in front of you, it’s a Monday morning at 8:00am and to keep yourself from work boredom or accidentally dozing off (sometimes, not even the coffee helps I bet), a random weird thought pops up into your head that causes you to briefly glance away from your screen as you curiously think “I wonder if anyone’s actually swallowed their tongue before”. Haha! I don’t know about y’all, but my little odd self would DEFINITELY do something like that. (For the record, I’ve never worked in an office before, so if you’re reading this and work an office job, I apologize if I TOTALLY got the vibe of an office job wrong. Really, I’m just taking in what I see from “The Office”! Funny show btw haha). But nevertheless, we’ve all been there, so I’m sure a lot of these thinking blogs you can relax to as well as relate to on some level.
if the Inside Out commercial ever zoomed in on our heads during the “What’s going on in their head?” line, there’s no telling WHAT would show up because our minds stay flooded with things to talk about. Whether it’s something we go over while relaxing in our living room, agreeing about something over the phone, or even sharing some “what if”‘s or “what about”s that popped up in our minds to keep ourselves SOMEWHAT entertained during work, our convos never die down. Now, some of you may be wondering if this sort of thing is ALL we’re gonna talk about on this blog. Not at all! While MOST of our posts will be centered around thoughts recollecting, we’ll also sometimes make simple posts on our weekday day or any weekend adventures we have, etc. In the end, mom and I are just trying to make the best out of life as much as possible, and this new blog we’re pumped to launch is ready to share & bring you along in this new journey with us!
Ok, ok, this introduction has gone long enough, but I think y’all get the picture. Stay tuned for more blogs in the future, and share some random things you reflect on sometimes in our comments down below! We would love to see what’s going on in your little curious cloud bubbles!
Ok, I’m gonna go watch some T.V. now. I don’t know what mom’s doing. Probably snacking on pretzels again. Lol.
Thank y’all so much for reading! We’ll see you all in the next post of Relax & Reflect On! Have a good one! 🙂
